We work with short waiting times and are happy to welcome you to one of our locations. Below are the current waiting times, which are updated weekly. This information is updated as of January 17, 2023.

Upon receipt of the referral (via Zorgdomein) we will call for all locations the same day for the registration interview and then plan the intake together.

The waiting time until the first appointment (intake):

  • 3 weeks in The Hague
  • 3 weeks in Amsterdam
  • 2 weeks in Rotterdam
  • 2 weeks in Zeist
  • 1 week in Roermond

The waiting time from intake to individual treatment:

  • 2 weeks in The Hague
  • 2 weeks in Amsterdam
  • 6 weeks in Rotterdam
  • 1 week in Zeist
  • 1 week in Roermond

The waiting time until clinical treatment:

The waiting time for clinical treatment differs per insurer. The waiting times per insurance group are listed below. We show an average and this can mean that your waiting time is different, so it can also be shorter.

  • ENO – no possibility of treatment
  • CZ – no clinical possibility
  • VGZ – 6 weeks – authorization request required for admission
  • Menzis – 6 weeks – idem
  • Achmea – 1 month
  • DSW – 1 month
  • VRZ – 1 month
  • ASR – 1 month
  • Caresq – 1 month

Castle Craig has contracts with most health insurers so you can get to it quickly. The waiting time for clinical treatment is only longer with uncontracted insurers, as explained below.

Uncontracted insurances† No contract has been concluded with this insurer for clinical care, which means that a longer period of time is required in connection with requests for confirmation that the treatment will be reimbursed.

If you think the waiting time is too long, you can contact the healthcare provider or ask your healthcare insurer for waiting list mediation. Your health insurer can support you with this, so that you receive an intake interview within 4 weeks of the first contact with a healthcare provider, and that the treatment has started within 7 weeks of the intake. These are the maximum acceptable waiting times, which have been jointly agreed by care providers and health insurers.
