June 29, 2020 - The 32nd edition of the Castle Craig reunion was supposed to take place on June 28, 2020, but had to be canceled due to the Coronavirus. The next reunion will be held on June 27, 2021.
Every year the Reunion organized for all former patients of Castle Craig Hospital in Scotland and their loved ones who may wish to join. Normally there are about 200 to 300 guests, but thanks to the lockdown in Scotland, that was not possible this year.
At the event there is the opportunity to share experiences, to speak to former practitioners again and to see the people with whom they went through a very difficult time in their lives at the time. There is a joint lunch, therapists and former patients talk about how to deal with difficult moments or how they overcame their addiction.
Because the 2020 reunion could not take place, Castle Craig Hospital team members Dr McCann, Mark Abrami, Paul Shannon and Lucy Haden decided to record a video message for all the former patients they have to miss this year. They wish everyone the best of luck and hope to see all the former patients who could not be there next year during the 33rd edition of the reunion. The video can be seen below.
