Davina has catered for the patients and staff of Castle Craig since 2003. She previously completed a number of City and Guilds training courses in catering at Telford College, Edinburgh and is also qualified in cake decorating and confectionary. She is trained in, and has experience of cooking quality meals for large numbers of people. The catering team know how important nutritious, fresh food is for the patients at Castle Craig. Davina plans all the menus to include wholesome, nutritious ingredients, and fresh fruit and vegetables are delivered daily to Castle Craig. Variety is also a key factor in the patients’ enjoyment of food and Davina and the team aim to introduce patients to many new dishes during their stay. All dishes are prepared to the highest standard onsite, including all our cakes and desserts. Our new kitchens were built in 2007 and provide the catering staff with the latest cooking technologies. All hygiene and cleaning standards are thoroughly adhered to. |
